STUDENT INFORMATION:
Advising

All incoming students have as their academic advisor either the program director or assistant director. The advisor helps design a course of studies consistent with the students intellectual interests. It is the student's responsibility to contact his or her initial advisor as soon as her or she enters the program. The student should make regular contact with the advisor, ideally at least once each semester.

You may request a change in advisors at any time while you are in the program. A student may change advisors if he or she wishes to work with a faculty member outside of the program staff. In this case, students should download a copy of the "Change of Advisor Document" below and follow its directions.
