Master the technology that makes the music
MUS 4575/5575-4. Surround Sound.
This lecture/lab course
deals with surround sound in film, digital TV, DVDs, theme parks
and games. Topics include monitoring, micing, recording, mixing,
mastering, delivery formats and psychoacoustics. Students work on
two lab projects in the semester. Prereq: MUS 4505 or permission
of instructor.
