Program Overview

The Educational Opportunity Programs assist students in all phases of their educational experience through a uniquely designed network of support services.

Since its inception in 1969, the Educational Opportunity Programs (EOP) has helped hundreds of minority students to enroll at the University of Colorado Denver and complete their baccalaureate degrees. Many of the Programs’ graduates have remained active in their respective communities as leaders in government, industry and various professional fields.

Today, the Educational Opportunity Programs remain an integral part of UCD and the primary link between the University and its culturally rich and diverse community. By sponsoring student cultural exchange events EOP encourages cross-cultural awareness and appreciation. Other programs are dedicated to making high quality university education accessible to minority individuals and affording them every opportunity to achieve a purposeful goal in life.
