Welcome New Students
On behalf of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, we are pleased to welcome you to the University of Colorado Denver. You probably have many questions about the next steps. Advising for Prospective and New Students
CLAS advisors are available to assist new students and prospective students. Please keep in mind a few guidelines prior to making an appointment with an advisor:
- The weeks before and after the start of the semester are particularly hectic as we serve current students. Please wait to schedule your appointment.
- Prospective students are welcome to come in during advisor's stop-in hours or for an appointment. Wwe appreciate your avoiding peak times for such visits.
- Transfer students with questions about how credits will apply to a UCD College of Liberal Arts and Sciences degree should bring an unofficial transcript copy with them. There is often a lag between your acceptance to the university and the advisor having access to your prior coursework.
