Teaching and Research Awards
College and Campus Faculty Awards
Each spring there is a faculty awards competition at the College and Campus levels in the following categories (the last two categories are for tenured/tenure track faculty only):
- tenured/tenure track teaching,
- non-tenure-track teaching,
- research
- service
CLAS gives three awards in each category, and these winners compete in the Campus-level competition. Faculty who win awards at the College level cannot be candidates again for five years. It is a good idea for each department to nominate faculty for these awards every year. Mary Coussons-Read in the Dean’s Office will send out information on the competition and deadlines early in the spring semester.
Outstanding Faculty Achievement Award (NEW in 2007)
Nominations for this award go to Mary Coussons-Read in the CLAS Dean's Office. The winners of these awards at the college level are nominated for the campus-wide award.
