Please Note

Although students will be assigned a home discipline based on their past training and future interests, all IGERT coursework and research cuts across disciplinary boundaries. PhD students will be co-advised by faculty in at least two of the above disciplines.

Following an initial discussion to ensure compatibility with the inter-disciplinary nature of the IGERT program, interested applicants should:

Application Deadline

IGERT positions for 2009 - 2010 have been filled. We will be accepting applications for 5 total positions for the 2010 - 2011 cohort from January 11, 2010 until February 15, 2010. IGERT fellows will be selected by March 31, 2010 for their program start in August, 2010.

Other Details

IGERT fellowship recipients must be US citizens or US permanent residents.  Women and minorities are encouraged to apply.
