Madhavan Parthasarathy, PhD
Dr. Madhavan Parthasarathy is an Associate Professor of Marketing at the University of Colorado Denver. He teaches Internet Marketing, New Product Development, Marketing Management, and Marketing Research for the Graduate School of Business. His research interests focus on customer retention, switching and discontinuance behavior, and the diffusion of new products.
Dr. Parthasarathy's articles have appeared in The Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Information Systems Research, International Marketing Review, The Journal of Macromarketing, The Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing, and other publications. In addition, he produces the Colorado Purchasing Managers' Index, which tracks the prowess of the manufacturing economy within the state. The index is published in The Denver Post on a monthly basis.
Dr. Parthasarathy earned his PhD from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He has received several honors including best teacher and best researcher awards while a graduate student at the University of Nebraska. He also represented the University of Nebraska in the marketing doctoral consortium in Santa Clara, California, in 1994.
