Geocaching(pronounced geo-cashing) is a high-tech treasure hunt where participants use a GPS to look for items hidden all over the world. It’s a new and growing sport that combines the internet, global satellite positioning (GPS) technology and hiking. Part of the documentary takes place at Geostock IV.
Elitch Theatre: An American Tradition is the story of the Denver landmark theatre which began in 1891.  First hosting vaudeville shows, the venue made local history with the showing of Denver’s first moving picture.  Later, the owners started a resident stock company, hosting nationally recognized performers. Lasting more than 100 years, The Elitch Gardens Theatre established itself as the oldest summer stock theater in the country.

The Glass Menagerie by Tennessee Williams
Department of Theatre, Film and Video Production
Sept 27-29 & October 4-6, 2007
King Center Eugenia Rawls Theatre
7:30pm
Tickets: $12 General Admission, $5 UCD students

Directed by Professor Laura Cuetara, the Theater, Film and Video Production Department presents this classic of the American Theater.  Set in a St. Louis tenement in the 1930s, The Glass Menagerie is a sensitive portrait of a family living on the edge of hope in the face of the collapsing American Dream. In Williams’ “memory play,” images of a fragile refuge surrounded by the encroaching decay of the city still resonate with contemporary audiences. The production features the designs of Michael Morgan, a scenic artist whose work has been seen locally at The Curious Theatre and the Denver Center Theatre Company.
