The CU Alumni Choir

Dr. Donna Bogard, director

CU Alumni Choir

In 1987, Dr. Bogard founded the CU Alumni Choir, a monumental effort to bring together alumni from all campuses of the University of Colorado in a volunteer public performance group of music and song. She has directed the Choir since its founding. The choir is based at UC Denver. Performing on numerous occasions each year, Dr. Bogard has provided the CU Alumni Choir with a rich and diverse musical heritage. Energizing and diverse performances have included the music of Cole Porter, George Gershwin, music of South Africa, early American music from Shaker, Moravian and African-American traditions, music in the White House, Dixieland Jazz, Songs of the Civil War, and World Wars I and II. And, of course, the numerous concerts of Christmas holiday music.
