Hans Rosenwinkel, Assistant professor of film/Video
Hans Rosenwinkel comes to the beautiful Rocky
Mountain region with a deep background in film and television production. With
his passion for skiing and the great outdoors, Hans moved from his native
Minnesota to Bozeman, Montana to pursue a degree in Media & Theatre
Arts at Montana State University. After moving to Salt lake City,
Utah his career then escalated encompassing a wide array of producing
experience, including: television news, network affiliate promotions,
commercial advertising, corporate industrial production, narrative film,
and documentary filmmaking.
Hans was drawn to Los Angeles to pursue his M.F.A. at the prestigious American
Film Institute. During his tenure in California, Hans continued his career
as a writer, producer, director, videographer, editor, and digital media artist
working for a production company that produced all forms of nationally broadcast
television production. Currently, he runs his own independent production
company called Evolution Media. For five years, he was an Assistant Professor
of Video/TV/Digital Media Production at the University of Idaho before making
his decision to move to Colorado to finally plant his roots. As an
independent producer, his most recent projects include producing, shooting, and
editing projects for National Geographic, PBS, the Fox Sports Network, and Warren
Miller Entertainment.
