Meet Your Career Center Staff

Jonne Kraning
Jonne Kraning became Director of the Career Center in October 2007 and
brings over 15 years of experience in Career Development to the UC
Denver Career Center. Jonne holds an M.Ed in Counseling with a specialization in Career Counseling from Colorado State University and additional training through JFK University in Walnut Creek, California. In addition to UC Denver, where she was the Assistant Director of Career Planning for eight years, she has worked with Career Centers at CSU and CU Boulder.

Jonne is nationally qualified in both the Myers Briggs Type Indicator and the Strong Interest Inventory and trained on over 20 other assessments. In addition, she has completed training through the Career Coach Academy in their Certified Career Management Coach program. Jonne is committed to professionalism and leadership, serving as President- Elect for the Colorado Career Services Association for Colorado and Wyoming, Past President of the Colorado Career Development Association and current involvement with the National Career Development Association, International Career Development Association, and National and Mountain States Association of Colleges and Employers.

She has been invited to speak at local, regional, and national conferences on Career Centers and the field of Career Counseling. She is also the author of numerous professional articles.  Jonne's passion is helping people find meaningful work while identifying their best natural talents, strengths, interests, and values.

Paul Worthman
Paul Worthman joined the Career Center in September 2004 as a Business Career Advisor.  His role as a career advisor has expanded to include all majors on the UC Denver campus. 

Paul brings over six years of experience in the Career Transition/ Management field to the UC Denver Career Center. In that arena he worked with over 300 clients and coached them through all phases of the job search process, from resume writing through employment offer negotiations.

He earned a B.S. Business Administration degree with a Marketing emphasis from the University of Colorado.  Additional and ongoing training in career development has occurred as a result of his involvement with the Colorado Career Development Association, the Mountain Pacific Association of Colleges and Employers, and the Colorado Career Services Association of Colorado and Wyoming.

 

Roseann Wagner
Roseann Wagner has been with the Career Center since March 2007. Since then she has rapidly moved from an administrative role to leading the Employment Services function. In the 07-08 school year she coordinated three major Career Fairs that brought in more than 300 employers and over 3,000 candidates. In addition, she ran the On-Campus Interview program, which provided recruiting opportunities for 20 employers that attracted approximately 300 students to request interviews. On a daily basis she continuously communicates with employers to help develop strategic plans to reach out to students. On top of all this, she is the lead person for maintaining and updating the online job and event database.


Jessie Czerwonka
Jessie Czerwonka has been at the UCD Career Center since June of 2007 working as a Graduate Student Assistant and has previously been employed at CU’s Career Services office.  She is currently enrolled in the CPCE Master’s program at UCD with a focus in Career Counseling.  She has assisted in career fairs, attended Colorado Career Development Association (CCDA) functions, and has recently been elected to the newsletter-elect position for CCDA. 

As a Graduate Student, Jessie provides assistance in resume development and critique to roughly 20 UCD students per week.  Additionally, she distributes information to students regarding career planning, job search, and interviewing skills.  Please visit Jessie during Resume Review hours!

 

Paul Worthman
Zach Repasky started working at the Career Center in January of 2008. He is the lead Graphic and Web designer for the Career Center. His main interests lie in Computer Animation and Visual Effects. He someday dreams of working for a major visual effects or animation studio. He uses this knowledge to help drive his graphic design. He also uses his knowledge in 2-demensional graphic design to help extend his knowledge of artistic rules, to create more aesthetic 3-demensional environments.
