Just ASK!  A=Assess - ask yourself, who am I really?

Figuring out your career identity can be a challenging task.  Self-discovery can often be difficult because we tend to resist it by doubting our potential and by not acknowledging our talents.  When utilizing our Just ASK! principles, take as much time as needed in figuring out “who you are.”  Not only is this important, but it is also critical to career-based decisions you might make later on.

You may need career counseling or coaching if you:

  • Need tools to help you assess your personality, interests, skills, and values
  • Are unclear about your major
  • Are unsure as to how your major relates to the workforce
  • Are unsure about what different careers can offer
  • Need help and support in designing a career strategy for your future
  • Are unsure about what kind of work you may be interested in
  • Are an alum and would like to make a career change
If you have completed your self-assessment process, advance to the “Search” section.

Take a look at each section under Career Planning to begin exploring possible career options by using the links on the left.
