Welcome to the home page of the University of Colorado Denver and Health Sciences Center Chemistry Club. We are a Student Affiliate of the American Chemical Society (SAACS).

Our mission is to relay the important role that science plays in everyday life to the community and students of all ages. We hope to educate students, young and old, about the exciting world of science - specifically chemistry. We want to provide resources to students of all ages (elementary through university) while relaying the diverse and exciting aspects of chemistry.

Currently, we provide resources to our campus through study sessions, tutoring, speakers, poster sessions, scientific awareness events, and demonstrations. We educate younger students through our Resources for Interactive Science Education program (RISE), demonstrations, judging science fairs, writing workshops, and other services.

For the community, we are performing demonstrations at libraries and volunteering our time to the Volunteers of Outdoor Colorado. We are also working on helping the less fortunate in our community with food and clothing drives.

We are located on the Auraria Campus in Downtown Denver.

• VOLUNTEERS FOR OUTDOOR COLORADO: SATURDAY, APRIL 22. Meet in NC Deli at 6:45am. MUST RSVP!!!!!!!!
  • We will be celebrating Earth Day by planting shrubs, trees, and wetlands plants in the St. Vrain Habitat Buffer in Longmont.
• ANNUAL AHEC SPRING FLING: Wednesday, April 26th and Thursday, April 27th. 10:30am-3:30pm.
  • We will have a table AT THE FLAGPOLE with informtaion on our club activities, Green Chemistry, Earth Day, the American Chemical Society, and the Resources for Interactive Education Program (RISE). We will be collaborating with the Clean Air Program as well!!
• CHEMISTRY DEPARTMENT AWARDS CEREMONY: FRIDAY, MAY 12 AT 11AM - 1PM. Dress formal.
