Each new major is assigned a faculty advisor in the department to assure assistance in planning his or her academic programs. In addition, CLAS has a staff of advisors to assist students in determining their progress towards graduation. The department has implemented a policy which enables the department to track the majors as they proceed through their college years, assessing their development and work towards their major.
