The UCD TRIO Student Support Services program located in NC 2506 has one main focus: assisting students in succeeding. This assistance is provided through many different means, including:
- One-to-One Mentoring
- Extra Tutorial Services
- Study Strategy Seminars
- Information Workshops
- Study areas, Computer use
What can SSS do for you?
After acceptance into the SSS Program, students are able to utilize a variety of student-oriented services including, but not limited to:
- Academic Support, Resource Guidance
- Financial Aid/Scholarship form assistance
- Choosing majors/Career Guidance
- Academic/Life skills workshops
- Cultural event opporttunities
- Advocacy
Who can participate in the SSS Program?
The TRIO SSS program is a federally funded government grant. the U. S. Congress legislates to the Department of Education the criteria for students who are eligible to participate. The target populations include the following:
- First-generation college students (neither parent has a four-year degree)
- Financial aid recipients who meet the federal low income guidelines
- Students with disabilities
- Students who show academic need (including English as a second language, etc.)
- U. S. citizens or permanent residents

Learning Resource Center »
- Tutorial Services are free-of-charge to all student fee payers.
- Only UC Denver students enrolled in UC Denver courses may request weekly scheduled sessions.
- Weekly open lab (walk-in) sessions are available to all students at the Auraria Campus. Open Lab schedules are available at the Center.
- Conversation groups (walk-in) are available to students who would like to improve their English or Spanish listening and speaking skills.
