The priority system and assigned dates
Registration dates are set using a simple priority system. Those closest to completing a degree are afforded the first opportunities to enroll. The SMART system is setup to recognize your status, and allow you to register only after the date that applies to you.
Watch the academic calendar for a link to assigned registration dates. Registration for the next semester typically begins about a month before the end of the current term.
Popular classes do fill quickly. So be sure to register as early as possible on the first day you become eligible.
