GIVING: Where It Really Matters

Make a Gift Online: It's easy to direct your gift to CLAS through the CU FoundationYour Gifts at Work

The University of Colorado system receives only a small percentage of its operating budget from the state of Colorado. CU is state-assisted, not state-funded. We rely heavily on alumni support to enhance our programs. It doesn't take a lot of money to make a big difference.

Dean's Fund for Excellence

With unrestricted gifts, the college can support initiatives and opportunities that support the academic, professional, and leadership development of CLAS's students and faculty. Whether it is providing support for students engaged in service learning or studying abroad, or supporting faculty members traveling to other institutions or attending professional development conferences, these funds can be integral to many opportunities that support the College's faculty and students.

Dean's Scholarship Fund

Many CLAS students either work part-time or full-time to pay for their tuition and living expenses. Additionally, a sizable number of CLAS students are "non-traditional" and are pursing higher education while trying to balance career and family responsibilities. Scholarship support can help relieve financial burdens, often making the difference between graduation and dropping out.
