New! Women Writing War Symposium
Thursday, Mar. 20
English Professor Cate Wiley will lead the Women Writing War symposium from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, Mar. 20 in the Tivoli Student Union, room 640. Free and open to the public, this event will explore how four writers' lives as women influences why, how, and what they have written about war.

New! Call for Proposals for Academic Honors and Leadership Tracks
The University of Colorado Denver University Honors and Leadership (UHL) program is inviting proposals for development of interdisciplinary, pedagogically innovative undergraduate courses for the academic honors and leadership tracks.
UC Denver faculty with outstanding teaching records and innovative ideas are invited to propose interdisciplinary courses intended to address the special educational needs of talented, motivated, and curious undergraduates. (more information)
ACT Grant (Advancing Curricula and Teaching): Offered by CLAS

The Dean and Associate Deans of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS) at the University of Colorado Denver are pleased to announce the 2008-09 CLAS Advancing Curricula and Teaching (ACT) grant. CLAS ACT funding is designated to further develop a campus environment which supports and encourages approaches to teaching and learning that advance goals of the college’s strategic plan.

Mar. 15: Complete dossier for Outstanding Faculty Achievement Award to Tammy Stone
Apr. 1: Graduate student nominations for the Alumni Association Graduate Scholarship are due to Jill Hutchison. The award is $2000 per academic year to each scholarship winner ($1000 each semester upon verification of their continuing eligibility).
Apr. 15: Deadline for submitting original copies of complete, signed Classified Staff performance evaluations to the Human Resources Office. Evaluations should be sent to Campus Box 130, Attn: Evaluations. (additional information)
