Please join us in welcoming Beverly Andes
Course and Curriculum Coordinator
The CLAS Dean's office is proud to announce that Beverly Andes has joined the college as Course and Curriculum Coordinator. Please join us in welcoming her. Originally from Louisianna, Beverly relocated to Colorado a few years ago and worked for CU-Boulder in a similar position. She has extensive experience with university systems and we are very fortunate to have her with us.
All course proposals should now be sent to her by chairs and directors with a copy to Jill Hutchison who will help in the transition.
Any correspondence that was directed to Liz Pruett during the interim, can now go to Beverly Andes. Thank you, Beverly, and welcome!
New syllabus policy and template
Faculty affairs
The attached syllabus policy has now been signed by Provost Heckler; also attached is the syllabus template. This policy was reviewed by the AD/ASG, revised and reviewed by the Faculty Assembly’s EPPC, revised again and re-reviewed by the AD/ASG, reviewed by the Deans, and then finalized. Both the policy and the template will be posted on the UCDHSC policy webpage soon. Special thanks to Ellen Stevens, who developed the draft policy and template and then shepherded the revised versions through the review process. If you have any questions, just let Laura Goodwin know.
RFP support to develop New Online Programs and Services
Pre-proposal meeting/Proposals due April 30
Please find an RFP for New Online Programs and Services here. The primary purpose of this grant program is to provide seed funds to expand the supply and range of online courses and programs to meet current student demand, increase student access, and improve our position in relation to regional competitors. Proposals are due April 30, but there is a pre-proposal meeting described in the RFP. If your department is considering a proposal please contact Kathleen Bollard ASAP so that we can coordinate the proposal process (given that it requires college sign-off and ranking).
