ASSOCIATE DEAN, for Long-Term Planning and Initiatives
Brenda J. Allen
Professor of Communication
Dr. Allen leads the strategic planning process for the college. This includes providing support and encouragement for the development and implementation of college signature areas and leadership for other college initiatives. Dr. Allen works to ensure implementation of the college’s diversity plan. She also works closely with others across the college and the university to facilitate consolidation initiatives. Additionally, Dr. Allen handles space issues for the College and serves as the main contact for integrated sciences issues (Anthropology, GES, HBS, Psychology).

ASSOCIATE DEAN, for Research and Curriculum
Mary Coussons-Read
Associate Professor of Psychology
Dr. Coussons-Read
oversees schedule planning and classroom assignments, curriculum and policy issues, as well as the development of outcome measurements for the college as a whole. She takes the lead in all faculty governance initiatives, such as the CLAS by-laws, CLAS council, and coordination of CLAS committee elections. Additionally, Dr. Coussons-Read works to develop connections to K-12 and to expand/enhance undergraduate research opportunities. Dr. Coussons-Read serves as the main Contact for Physical and Natural Sciences Issues (Biology, Chemistry, Math, Physics).

ASSOCIATE DEAN, for Undergraduate Student Affairs
Charles A. Ferguson
Associate Professor of Biology
Dr. Ferguson handles all undergraduate student issues, including oversight of the CLAS Advising Office and undergraduate pipeline programs, student recruitment and retention, and student petitions. He also serves as the main contact for Humanities related issues (English, History, Modern Languages, Philosophy).

Tammy Stone
Associate Professor of Anthropology
Dr. Stone oversees all faculty personnel activities, such as contracts, retention, tenure and promotion policies and procedures. She also handles all graduate student affairs issues, including student petitions. Dr. Stone serves as the main contact for Social Sciences issues (Communication, Economics, Ethnic Studies, Political Science, Sociology).

ASSISTANT DEAN, for International, Continuing & Professional Education
Kuan-Yi Rose Chang
Director of Chinese Language
Dr. Chang manages all college activities associated with international initiatives (particularly the International College in Beijing [ICB]). She serves as the liaison for all matters associated with the Office of International Education (OIE) and the office of Continuing and Professional Education (CPE). Dr. Chang seeks to expand the current continuing and professional educational programs in the college by seeking new avenues and course offerings.

In the capacity of chief financial officer, Mr. Honda oversees all budget development, reporting and analysis for the College. This includes responsibility for financial aspects of contracts and grants, as well as approval of budget, expense, and payroll transactions. Mr. Honda also serves as college representative on numerous campus and system finance-related committees.
