Creative Writing Minor
Students who are not majoring in an English creative writing track or are not majoring in English, and who have an interest in writing poetry or fiction, may enroll in the creative writing minor. The minor gives students the opportunity to complement their area of major study with experience writing and reading poetry or fiction.
General Requirements
Students minoring in creative writing must complete a total of 15 hours. None of the required courses may be taken pass/fail. Only courses completed with a grade of C (2.0) or better may be counted toward the minor. All upper-division courses must be taken with downtown Denver campus English faculty. Students should take ENGL 1020 before beginning the minor.
