M.S. in Environmental Sciences (38 credits)
program mission statement
Environmental Sciences supports interdisciplinary environmental education and research at the graduate level. The Environmental Sciences discipline is comprised of the Master of Science in Environmental Sciences (M.S.) degree program, the Master's International Program (in cooperation with the U.S. Peace Corps and the graduate certificate program. The graduate program in environmental sciences trains environmental scientists and promotes interaction between faculty members of different departments and colleges of the University of Colorado Denver, campuses of the University of Colorado system, and the public in the area of environmental education. The Master's International Program provides students with the same diverse science and engineering background, but also gives them an overseas experience where they can observe, first-hand, environmental problems and solutions in other countries through a two-year program with the Peace Corps.
