Research Interests
- Adolescent risk behaviors and relationship power differentials that put youth at risk for unintended pregnancy, HIV, and other sexually transmitted infections; current work focuses on Latino youth in Colorado.
- Rural HIV/STD prevention with current focus on the link between methamphetamine use and behaviors that put individuals at heightened risk for HIV or STD infection.
- Translation of evidence-based HIV/STD and unintended pregnancy prevention interventions to rural communities.
- Evaluation of HIV, STD, and unintended pregnancy prevention interventions.
