Internships
Students are strongly encouraged to do internships. It's the best way to get experience that can bridge the gap between college and the work place, while earning academic credit that may be applied toward your major.
Prerequisite
Students must have a minimum of 2.75 cumjlative GPA in at least 15 semester hours of CU course work to take an internship for academic credit.
Locating an Internship
Students must seek out the opportunities available. Information on internships is availalbe from the history faculty, or through the Internship and Cooperative Education Program.
Our students have qualified for internships through such organizations as:
- Colorado State Historical Society
- Historic Denver
- Denver Museum of Nature and Science
- National Park Service
