Undergraduate Minor in History
History students not only learn what has happened, they also learn to appreciate and understand the process of change. It's this perspective that makes the history minor an excellent complement to nearly any major.
course requirements -- 18 credit hours total
As of Fall 2006, no grade lower than a C will count for the History Minor.
Nine hours must be upper division (3000- and 4000-level).
Required History Courses -- 3 total credit hours
HIST 3031. Theory and Practice of History -- 3 credit hours
Take 3 credit hours in each of the following areas:
- The United States
- Europe
- World (Asia, Africa, and Latin America)
Choose 6 credit hours of elective History Courses
