The Intersections Conference series was conceived as a way to bring professionals in theoretical and applied areas of study together to discuss topics of mutual interest and contemporary significance. Organized by the CU Denver Department of Philosophy, together with the CU Denver Center for Ethics and Community and the Center for Bioethics at the CU Health Sciences Center, the conference series has enjoyed support and participation from numerous areas of academic and professional practice. With the broad variety of interests, conventions, and presentation styles of its participants, the Intersections Conference series has begun a new tradition of stimulating interaction among experts in diverse areas across academic, clinical and labratory settings.
Sessions are held on the CU Denver campus in the historic Tivoli building, in rooms that enjoy beautiful mountain views. Breakfast is provided on Friday, and receptions will be held each evening of the conference. Pre-registration is $20 (online--payment should be made separately, by regular mail), and registration at the door is $30. Students, CU Denver faculty, and participants' registration is complimentary.

Denver International Airport is 25 miles from downtown Denver and the Tivoli Conference Center. Hotel shuttles, Supershuttle service, and taxis are readily available from the airport. Supershuttle service costs approximately $20 for a one-way trip; taxi fares are generally about $40, and hotel shuttles are generally complimentary. Guests should make arrangements in advance for hotel shuttle service from the airport.
