Faculty and Staff

Our award winning faculty members maintain active research programs, demonstrate teaching excellence, and contribute substantially to university, professional, and community service.  Faculty members compete for and have been awarded funding from the National Institutes of Health and other organizations to support their independent research programs.  They regularly publish their research findings in quality professional journals (in areas as diverse as neuroscience, family psychology, ethics, health psychology, social psychology, developmental psychology,   teaching, psychoneuroimmunology, and psycho-pharmacology).  In addition, many of our faculty members have won awards for teaching excellence.

Denise Marie Arehart, Ph.D

Denise Arehart died on October 18, 2005 at the age of 43 after fighting and living with cancer.  A talented psychologist, a gifted teacher, and a nurturing advisor and confidante to her students, Denise will be greatly missed and warmly remembered by all who knew her.
