Applied Biosystems API 4000 LC/MS/MS
Introduction -
Dr. Stith and Dr. Jonscher were awarded a grant, for the purchase and operation of an LC/MS/MS in the fall of 2007. The grant is funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) as part of their Major Research Instrumentation program. The grant program is designed to fund major pieces of instrumentation to be used in both teaching and research roles, and unlike grants from the National Institute for Health (NIH) grants by the NSF are intended to support basic research.
