Undergraduate Minor in Sociology
requirements
For an undergraduate minor in sociology, a minimum of 15 semester hours in sociology must be completed with a grade of C or better. Nine of these hours must be taken from the UC Denver faculty.
Required Courses -- 6 hours
- SOC 1001 Introduction to Sociology -- 3 hours
- SOC 4150 History of Sociological theory -- 3 hours
Elective Courses -- 9 hours minimum
You also choose at least nine elective course credit hours from the Sociology Department.
