WE ARE THE VOICE FOR GLOBAL HEALTH......

 

Become an Affiliate or a Member

While the Center for Global Health receives funding from grants, contracts, fund-raising activities and the Chancellor's Office of the University of Colorado, the most important source of funding and support are the Members and the Affiliates of the Center for Global Health.  These committed people sustain the ongoing operation of the Center, and participate in and contribute to the development of new global health initiatives.

AFFILIATES

An Affiliate of the Center is an individual or an organization that is interested in global health, and has some skills, contacts, or resources that they would like to offer to the Center for Global Health.  An Affiliate may be actively involved in one or more projects or activities outside of North America, and may be looking for partnerships that could enhance the effectiveness of their activity as well as that of others.

Becoming an Affiliate is simple; just click on the below link and register as an Affiliate of the Center for Global Health.  You will be asked a few questions about your interests and skills in global health, and any areas of activity or expertise in specific countries.  This information will only be distributed upon request to other affiliates, and not beyond this select group.

MEMBERS

A Member of the Center for Global Health is registered as an affiliate of the Center, but with a difference - they would like to become involved in the support of the Center and when possible, participate in some of the activities of the Center.  They are willing to contribute financially to the Center at one of several levels, which entitles them to the benefits listed below.

Becoming a Member is also very simple:

1.  Register as an Affiliate for the Center for Global Health  by clicking on the below link.

2. Click on the "Give Online" button on the sidebar, and follow the simple directions for donating via your credit card at any of the listed membership levels. You will receive a tax-deductable receipt from the CU Foundation very shortly.

Why Join the Center for Global Health?

Members of the Center join a unique group of supporters who possess interests beyond their local community, and who are committed to interaction and involvement on a global level. They enjoy benefits and privileges such as:

• Access to an international experiences database, for students and residents
• Access to PowerPoint presentations of past lectures of the Global Health Lecture Series

• The opportunity to serve as a mentor for a student
• Directly supporting the strategic initiatives of the Center for Global Health
• The opportunity to network with recognized leaders in global health development and research.
