What is CU
Succeed Gold? Courses are taught during regular school periods by specially qualified teachers from your high school. These instructors hold honorarium faculty appointments at UC Denver. The CU Succeed Gold program has been working successfully with students and teachers in high schools throughout Colorado since 1996. All courses are taken for a letter grade and appear on a UC Denver transcript. Plus, CU Succeed courses are offered at a reduced tuition rate so you can begin earning college credit before paying full college tuition. The tuition rate for 2008-2009 CU Succeed Gold courses is $50 per credit hour. What Is CU-Succeed Silver? CU-Succeed Silver works similarly to CU Succeed Gold. CU Succeed Silver also offers juniors and seniors the opportunity to get a head start on college by earning college credit while still in high school. As a CU Succeed Silver Student, you'll be engaged in courses of the same academic quality and rigor as those taught at the University of Colorado Denver. Courses may be taught during school periods and after school hours. These courses are taught by UC Denver full-time or part time faculty and may also involve a cooperating faculty member of the host high school. The tuition rate for these courses is also substantially less than the full college tuition charged both at UC Denver and numerous other campuses. What if I'm not
