The Youth Executive Committee consists of young people aged 9 to 19,
recruited from youth organizations, schools and CYFC stakeholder networks
throughout the city of Denver. It meets weekly and is the primary youth
decision-making entity, voice and leadership for the Initiative. The YEC
provides a vision for the Initiative grounded in the real lives of the
city's young people.
