Mission Statement:

Environmental Sciences supports interdisciplinary environmental education and research at graduate and undergraduate levels. The Environmental Sciences discipline is comprised of the Master of Science in Environmental Sciences (MSES) degree program, the Master's International Program (in cooperation with the U.S. Peace Corps), and the undergraduate minor in Environmental Sciences. The MSES Program trains environmental scientists and promotes interaction between faculty members of different departments and colleges of the University of Colorado Denver campuses of the University of Colorado system, and the public in the area of environmental education. The Master's International Program provides students with the same diverse science and engineering background, but also gives them to have an overseas experience through a two year program with the Peace Corps.  The undergraduate minor broadens the student's knowledge of environmental issues.
