Description: A multidisciplinary examination of the problems of environmental pollution. The course focuses particularly on the chemical, social, biological, economic, and engineering aspects of environmental pollution; composition and sources; health and social costs; methods of reduction and control. Open to any non-engineering or engineering student having at least junior standing.
Prerequisites: upper division standing.
