Cultural Awareness as a Guide

Cultural Diversity Training seminars assist you with communicating effectively across diverse cultures. This seminar is designed to provide the knowledge, skills and tools to assist team members in interacting more effectively. Seminars typically includes:
        - Cross-cultural management skills
        - Definitions of cultural awareness
        - Working together and developing cultural awareness
        - Cultural values and attitudes (group dynamics, relationships, time,  space, authority,
           tasks)
        - Communication styles

Upon completion  seminar participants will be able to:
-Recognize and become acquainted with fellow participants in a way that
         acknowledges
         each person’s unique cultural heritage
-An understanding that awareness is a "two-way" street and all cultures need to adapt
-Identify and recognize some of the visible and invisible ways in which people differ
-Acknowledge and appreciate our tendency to react most strongly to visible
         differences
-Define and describe a process you will adapt towards valuing diversity
