"The Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program enables us to further our knowledge in research that classrooms don't offer. It's important for these programs to exist so that undergrads can have a sense of what it's like to do research in the real world, it also enables us to think outside the box of endless opportunities. The Ethnic Studies Minor is important in the sense of acknowledging individual existence and identity in this diverse world. It broadens our mind and knowledge of not only the world around us, but the person within us too."
