The core of the EPML concentration is three graduate
seminars, all taught by full-time core faculty who specialize in environmental
affairs. Using case studies, they
provide a comprehensive overview of the field, as well as specific analytical
skills necessary to better understand how government makes crucial decisions
affecting the management of our natural resources and environmental quality. Class size in the three program seminars is limited to 30 students each. To complete the program, students are required to complete two of the three core seminars and to choose additional courses from a wide array of pre-approved electives offered
throughout the University of Colorado system for their additional electives required by the MPA program.
