A good action research proposal pulls together several important pieces of the action research process:

• Problem statement
• Method section, including:
  • overall design of the study
  • participants and collaborators
  • data-collection instruments or methods
  • data analysis
  • schedule of activities
• Environmental Impact Statement assessing
  • anticipated impact of research on participants and community
  • possible negative impact of research findings on you personally and on the organization.
