Fixing the "Host Key" problem for SshClient on a PC
On May 15, 2007 IT Services updated the server software on Ouray. As a result, the host key that you created the first time you connected to Ouray prior to May 15, 2007 using SshClient will no longer work. When you try to login to Ouray using SshClient, you will get a warning that looks like:

To solve this problem, perform the following steps:
- Click the "Settings" button on the SshClient interface (as circled in red below):

- From the left nav bar of the Settings window, click "Profile Settings" (as circled in red below) and then click the "Open" button (also circled in red):

- When the "Open" button is clicked, a window will open displaying some application data folders and files for SshClient. One of the folders is
"HostKeys":

- Open the HostKeys folder. You will see the file in that folder that is the host key for Ouray:

- Delete that Ouray host key file.
- Close the HostKeys folder and click the OK button at the bottom of the Settings dialog box to close it also.
- Now, login to Ouray as you normally do. When you do, you will receive notification that a new Host Key is being created for you, just like #7 of Step 1 the first time you logged into Ouray using SshClient.
