Dave Young is a senior instructor in the Information and Learning Technologies (ILT) program at the University of Colorado Denver. He teaches a variety of Web development and instructional design courses. He also advises and coordinates the Saturday ILT Masters program for K-12 teachers. Dave was awarded Teacher of the Year in 2003 by the UC Denver School of Education and Human Development and is a member of the Steering Committee for the ISPI-Front Range Chapter.

Professionally, Dave comes from two equally chaotic worlds. A few years ago, he worked for iXL, Inc. as an information architect creating e-commerce solutions for such clients as Matcotools.com and Budget.com. iXL "dot-bombed" and now no longer exists. Prior to that, he taught junior high technology and mathematics classes with the Greeley, Colorado public schools.

Dave is a graduate of the ILT program and is currently trying to ready himself for his first marathon.

Dave is the co-instructor for IT 5660 -- Developing Educational Websites, and IT 5670 -- Strategies for Online Learning.
