Health Insurance
Beginning the 2005-2006 school year the University
has administered a mandatory health insurance plan
for all international students with a visa status
of F-1, J-1, and J-2. These visa types will automatically
be enrolled in the student health insurance and the
fee is added to the tuition account each semester.
All other international students with a visa status
of H-1, H-4, TN, R-2 and PR that are taking 6 or more
credit hours on an undergraduate basis or 3 or more
credit hours on a graduate basis will be allowed to
voluntarily enroll on the plan. The enrollment form
must be completed by the deadline date and submitted
to the Student Health Insurance Office located in
the Tivoli 303.
