DESCRIPTION/PURPOSE:

The Ethnic Studies Student Organization is a response to the need to recognize diversity on our urban campus. The general purpose of the organization is to:
a. To serve as a forum for integrating all groups that have been historically disenfranchised, into our campus community.
b. To promote the growth of the best cultural diversity practices, initiatives, and programs that could be adapted for UCD.
c. To serve the college by encouraging the integration of diversity into curriculum, research, and programming on our campus.
d. D. To foster the continued interest in the discipline of Ethnic Studies.
