DESCRIPTION & PURPOSE

The MBASO is a student organization with the intent of providing a social forum for business students and other students interested in our activities to build a sense of community and lasting relationships.

The purpose of this chapter shall be as follows:

a) To serve as a forum for the MBA student community
b) To serve the MBA students by establishing networking opportunities
c) To foster an environment in which relationships can be built with fellow MBA students and the business community
d) To promote personal and professional growth

Over the past couple years we have held a wide variety of events. Some of the on-campus events have included C-level Round Tables discussions on corporate innovation and the future direction of the economy as it applies to they business goals. We have also sponsored on-campus social events like ice cream socials. Off-campus we have a monthly happy hour, inner-city youth scholarship drive at The Griz, and an end of the year event at the Denver Art Museum.
