DESCRIPTION & PURPOSE

To promote the cause of higher business education and training for all individuals, to foster high ideals for everyone pursuing a career in business; to encourage fraternity and cooperation among people preparing for such careers;and to stimulate the spirit of sacrifice and unselfish devotion to the attainment of such ends. Goals: Our goals for this semester are as follows; 1. To increase awareness of our fraternity among business students at UC Denver. 2. To promote and practice professionalism among members. 3. To do more to give back to our support groups, such as the business school and the university, the student body (both business and non-business), the business community, and the community at large. Past Events: Our past events include a National Meeting in Richmond, Virginia, which allowed us to meet other chapter members, make new friends and acquaintances, learn more about the national aspect of our fraternity, etc. Future Events: The events that are on our agenda for the 2006-2007 school year are numerous. We are planning on being much more involved this year. Some of these events include a retreat for all members that will allow pledges and current members to get to know each other, a resume and interview techniques workshop, trick or treat with the children's hospital, campus activities for all UC Denver students sponsored by Phi Chi Theta, a fundraiser event to benefit a charity that is yet to be decided, chapter participation along with the International Business Student Network to volunteer our services with Habitat for Humanity, and much, much more!!
