DESCRIPTION & PURPOSE

To encourage students of sociology to explore facets of the discipline beyond the classroom. This includes forming cohorts with other students, developing career interests in sociology, encouraging students to present work in professional meetings. The club will also provide a supportive environment in which any questions or concerns of students may be addressed with faculty members through a student liaison.
