DESCRIPTION & PURPOSE

The Society of TRiO Students will support the activities and goals of the TRiO programs (Student Support Services (SSS) and The McNair Postbaccalaureate Achievement Program (McNair)) at UC Denver. We shall do this through community building (e.g., study groups, hiking, knitting, climbing), fund raising activities for student scholarships and other financial rewards that are specifically unallowable with federal funds, and service activities (e.g., food drives, book drives) benefiting TRiO students and the larger community.
