The Writing Center offers graduate students the opportunity to upload a draft document for review/return by a writing consultant. You must use this form to send your document via email -- Writing Center consultants do not accept emails sent directly to their personal accounts.
Consultants will not edit, proofread, or rewrite your paper for you, but they will provide feedback about how your writing can be improved. Please use your UCD email account; the Writing Center can only send replies to UCD-affiliated accounts.
PLEASE NOTE: The expected wait time to have a paper reviewed is approximately 4 business days. DUE TO FALL BREAK, SUBMISSIONS RECEIVED AFTER WEDNESDAY, 11/18 AT 5 P.M. WILL NOT BE REVIEWED OR RETURNED UNTIL 11/30 OR LATER. Please plan ahead and submit early.
This is not a copyediting service (in fact, most documents longer than 10 pages will only be partially reviewed). For more focused help on proofreading your paper, please make an appointment for our in-person or online services.
